How to schedule a delivery
A delivery can be scheduled at any time after the Purchase Order associated with the Sales Order has been sent.
Scheduling deliveries from the Sales Order Table
Find the Sales Order you want to schedule a delivery for and click on the 3 dots to select Create Delivery.
The delivery screen will open and all items from the Sales Order will be populated on the delivery along with the delivery address.
Fill in the expected delivery date and carrier information and submit.
If the customer has other sales orders or other items that would be ready for delivery at the same time you can use the Add Items to Delivery button to add to the delivery.
Once all items have been added click submit and the delivery will be set to a scheduled status and appear on the calendar.
Scheduling Deliveries from the Delivery Module:
Select Deliveries from the left side panel.
Click New Delivery on the top right.
Choose Delivery or pickup. If Delivery is selected, fill in as many details as possible regarding the carrier, expected delivery date and time windows, and add any notes.
Choose the items that will be part of the delivery by clicking the Add Items to Delivery button.
We recommend using the arrow in the right most column next to the product/sku to select the product you'd like to add to the order. You can also use the checkbox if you know all products associated with that sku will be going on the same delivery.
The page will expand to show all items associated with that product/sku. Using the indented checkboxes, select the item that is associated with a Sales Order. Click Select 1 item.
The item will be added to the Delivery and the delivery address will be automatically populated based on the information from the Sales Order.
Click Submit. A confirmation message will appear on the top of the page.
The alternative to update the delivery status is on the top of the page.
Note: While there is no requirement to select a delivery window, if you do provide a delivery window, then the delivery will appear on the calendar located on the left side panel.
Note:** If multiple items are going to be added to the delivery repeat steps 1-5 from the above section. Then, when you are adding items you can multi select items and add them all to the delivery at one time. Be sure to select Sales Orders all associated with the same customer.
10. If you set a start and end time, view the schedule on the calendar.
